Successful Completion of Operation Fares Al-Shahm 2: UAE's Humanitarian Support to Turkey and Syria

 

The Joint Operations Command announces the completion of Operation Fares Al-Shahm 2 after more than 5 months since the start of the operation, carried out by the Joint Operations Command in the Ministry of Defense, based on the directives of His Highness the President of the State, in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abu Dhabi Health Department, Emirates Red Crescent Authority, Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works. The operation aimed to support the affected brothers and friends in the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria and is considered one of the most successful unified operations of national institutions in the country. Its priorities were identified in coordination with the authorities in the affected countries, reflecting the distinguished humanitarian approach of the UAE and the guidance of our wise leadership in supporting our brothers and friends.
